What is our mission?

We want to help and create a better world

Miss Nature is also known as Christopher Jay Hall. He has been active in the community since 2007 when he was the president of his gay-straight alliance in high school. In 2009, he founded a non-profit where he sat on the board as president until 2012. The mission of this non-profit was to work with already existing LGBTQ+ organizations to provide resources and services to underserved areas across the state.

Christopher soon realized the importance of drag. Most of the funding collected for the non-profit came from the generosity of drag entertainers. Christopher understood the pivotal role drag has played in the advancement of rights for LGBTQ+ folx. Christopher wanted to give back to the community by simply participating in events but no longer wanted to produce functions as the executive director of a non-profit organization. Christopher would start the persona of Nadi Nature in 2010. When Christopher started working with children, his name was soon changed to Miss Nature to be more appropriate. This change also reflected growth and progress for Miss Nature. Christopher has now been performing for more than a decade and continues to not only perform but produce shows as well. Christopher has helped raise thousands of dollars for various non-profits to help fund programs that help women who have experienced domestic violence, veterans, individuals with down syndrome, individuals with autism, animals, people of color, breast cancer research, programs for undocumented children and their families among countless others.

While Miss Nature, LLC is not a non-profit, we still enjoy giving back to communities. We often enjoy giving to those outside the LGBTQ+ community with the intent of building bridges and ever-lasting partnerships with other communities in the hopes for a better tomorrow. We want people to see our community in a positive manner rather than the negative manner it is sometimes perceived as. We also want to strengthen our community by providing networking opportunities around Tucson. We work with small businesses who support our community and in return support them for supporting us.
